Third Announcement of the Colloquium

36 mathematicians from 10 countries have already expressed their interest to participate at our event. See the list of registered participants in the registration section.

Program and Abstract
The day of arrival is June 12, 2023, Monday. The scientific program will run from Tuesday morning to Friday evening. 12 plenary lectures are planned in the mornings  lasting 45 minutes. and almost 20 short talks (20 minutes) in the afternoons. See the preliminary schedule in the Programme section, where the Abstracts will be published soon.

 

TRAVEL INFORMATION
 Arriving by plane

  • To Budapest Airport: direct flights from most of the European airports.
  • Transfer to Debrecen
    • Train: Bus 200E to Budapest Kőbánya-Kispest railway station. Tickets are available from the ticket machines at the airport or from the drivers. The final destination of the 200E bus is Kőbánya-Kispest railway station. From Budapest Kőbánya-Kispest railway station to Debrecen: direct IC train to Debrecen.
  • To Debrecen Airport
    • Lufthansa flights from Munich 3 times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
    • Daily Wizz Air flights from London, further Wizz Air flights from Tel Aviv, Lárnaka and Eindhoven
       

Arriving to Budapest by train

From Western European cities trains arrive to Budapest Keleti railway station. 

  • From Budapest Nyugati railway station to Debrecen: direct IC train to Debrecen 
  • From Budapest Ferihegy railway station to Debrecen: direct IC train to Debrecen

(Tickets are available from ticket machines at the stations. Credit cards are accepted.)

Arriving from Budapest Airport to Debrecen by shuttle bus

You may order online a shuttle transfer bus service to Debrecen from Budapest airport. It is convenient, but not cheap: 20,000 HUF, appr 60 USD. See here:

  • Tram no. 1 from the railway station by tram No.1. to 12th tram stop "Egyetem”

To Divinus Hotel: by taxi, or by Tram No.1, 9th stop

To Mercure Hotel: by taxi, or by Tram No 1., 4th stop

to DAB Guest House (Address: Thomas Mann u. 49): by taxi, or by Tram No.2, 11th stop

    Tickets are available from newsagent's shop at the station, ticket machines (460 HUF) or from the drivers (550 HUF). 3-day ticket - 3200 HUF.
