Objective of the Conference:

The University of Debrecen, in partnership with the Magyar Nemzeti Bank (MNB) – celebrating its 100th year in 2024 – is proud to announce the "Sustainable Economy – Sustainable Society International Scientific Conference," taking place on May 16th-17th, 2024, at the Faculty of Economics and Business.This conference commemorates the 30th anniversary of economics and business higher education in Debrecen. It provides domestic and international researchers a platform to present their scientific findings and share experiences through workshops. The proposed presentations are intended for a broad scientific audience, primarily encompassing the humanities and social sciences, economics, engineering, and legal studies and welcoming contributions from other interdisciplinary fields.

Participation in the conference is free of charge but requires registration. The conference will be held in person. We reserve the right to make any changes, we will notify everyone before the conference.

The conference is planned to be held in person, with any changes to be communicated in advance.

Publication Opportunities

The abstract submitted with the registration form will be published in Proceedings, including the conference programme, with a copy provided to each participant on the conference day. Based on the recommendations of the session chairs, opportunities will be provided to publish studies derived from the 15-minute presentations. Submitted studies will undergo a double-blind peer review process. Studies that pass the review and are accepted will be published in the conference's electronic proceedings or one of our partner journals, subject to the applicant's prior choice.
