The University of Debrecen Faculty of Music organises the 5th scientific conference in cooperation with the Foundation for the Art of the Future, the Doctoral Programme in Education and Cultural Studies of and the Specialised Committee on Education, Cultural Studies and Psychology of the Academy of Sciences of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.

We invite researchers, performers and teachers working in the field of music education, musicology and music performance to exchange professional ideas, to learn and discuss new research results.

The organisers of the conference welcome applications from colleagues who wish to present their theoretical and empirical work, research results and share their views on current issues in music education and music life. 

For foreign applicants, we offer the possibility to present personally or online.

Abstracts can be uploaded using the online application form. (Abstract format requirements)

Registration fee for the conference: 50 EUR, doctoral or university student: 40 EUR. The registration fee includes lunch, coffee, refreshments and conference publications.

The best papers from the presentations will be published in English in an indexed journal.

 

Deadline for registration and uploading of papers: 20 February, 2025 
Notice on acceptance of abstract: 1 March, 2025 
Payment of registration fee: 10 March 2025
