The 24th Debrecen-Katowice Winter Seminar on Functional Equations and Inequalities
At the University of Debrecen and at the University of Silesia in Katowice there are prominent research groups investigating problems on functional equations, inequalities, and their applications. For more than 50 years, there has been close cooperation between the scientists of these institutions. With the aim of making these relations even stronger, in 2001, researchers from Debrecen and Katowice initiated a series of joint seminars organized every winter alternately in Poland and Hungary. These meetings are intended to speed up the exchange of the latest developments, ideas, and problems. Another important goal is to give young researchers a chance to participate in these seminars and present their results.
The 24th Debrecen‒Katowice Winter Seminar on Functional Equations and Inequalities organized by the Department of Analysis, Institute of Mathematics, University of Debrecen, will be held in Hotel Aurum, Hajdúszoboszló, Hungary from February 6 to February 9, 2025.
