The Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Debrecen and The Department of Gerontology and Dementia Studies, Faculty for Social Wellbeing at the University of Malta will organize an 

International Scientific Conference 
on 10-11. October 2024

We welcome your participation at the lectures and welcome studies, virtual posters that have not been published before, but are related to the theme of our conference. The Conference provides an excellent opportunity for the exchange of experience, for educators and researchers, as well as practitioners, to present and discuss their results.

The language of the conference:

  • Hungarian
  • English

Speakers can apply on the registration platform by sending a section presentation, poster or virtual poster abstract. The conference can be attended by a presentation, an A0-sized printed poster or a virtual poster. A participant can attend the Conference with a maximum of two works.

Lecture:

  • The lectures will be given in thematic sections. The 15-minute lectures will be followed by a discussion, debate. The work of the thematic section will be moderated by the Chair appointed by the Scientific Program Committee.

Poster:

  • Posters with a maximum size of 84x110 cm (size A0) can be placed on poster stands. The projection of the virtual posters will take place within the framework of the Poster section. We offer the opportunity to present the posters (both printed and virtual) on by one, in 3-5 minutes orally.
  • The poster section is an excellent opportunity to discuss the results of the research in a more informal way than the lectures.

Abstracts:

  • The abstract of the lecture and the poster summarizes (1) the aim, (2) the theorectical framework, (3) the methods (research and development tools, research / development participants, analysis of the results), (4) results, and (5) theoretical and practical relevance of the theoretical or empirical work in the amount of 2500-7500 characters.
